Deep but short.
I like her style of writing. I wish the book was a little longer though.
I would recommend.
Lauren is just so bleeping sublime, so effortlessly she writes down gems into existence, she breathes life into love, before and after death, so ever sharp and precise with the right amount, so witty, clever and creative, so open up wide and take a spoonful of good ass poetry, so her, so yesteryear.
Love at first sight, it was like my own book of experiences being brought back to life with the intended lesson learned deeper the any ocean and higher than any mountain love is in and out of seasons and sometimes we love without a reason... Lauren Eden is a poetic word God

Discovered this author on Instagram. Bought the book for my daughter. Loved it so much I kept it for myself. Two days later, bought another for my daughter. Just get it. It's brilliant!
This book proves that so few words on a page can be as thought provoking as any hugely written novel. I am blown away by this writers relatable message that connects so many women together. I rarely buy many poetry books by singular artists but this one is well worth it. I hope she will keep at this for many more years to come.

I followed you on instagram and quickly noticed you had a book out, so I bought it. I was left speechless after buying the version of Of Yesteryear. For a long time it was all that I read, and every time I re-read it I found beauty in a different poem. I decided to purchase the paperback version a month after because I needed to have the hardcopy! The pureness and soul speaking poems made me fall in love with this book. It is hands down my favorite book ever, I carry it wherever I go and continuously reread it.
Through this book, you have quickly become my favorite author! Thank you for sharing a piece of you with the world.
I follow Lauren on IG and I have for about a month. I found myself consistently enjoying, liking, loving, feeling, smirking, blushing, laughing and applauding her posts. I also enjoyed her, as a person, in the little slivers she occasionally shared of herself. So I wanted to support her as a writer by purchasing and I also wanted to hold the work in my hands. I wanted the book version because I couldn't get close and deep enough into it through IG. I loved it and I will read it many more times.
I find her work honest and relatable, it is often simple - but in a beautiful and uncluttered way - (unlike the effortless, trite, one liners I constantly come across on IG) #notsorry
Her work is like walking into a beautiful hotel room to me, it's clean, I like it there, I don't feel at home, but I'm comfortable, it is familiar without being boring, it invites me to stay in it, sleep with it... and maybe even get a little dirty.
