I adore this little gem of a book!. It is .brilliant.. and inventive...and witty....... to be read and re-read, for nuances abound!
I live in Fairyland. My neighbor, Mrs. Wolf, just learned the wrongful death lawsuit she filed on behalf of her husband, Big Bad, was rejected by the court. On the other side of town, Mary was suspended from school indefinitely for bringing her lamb in for show-&-tell. A few blocks over, Ms. Tuffet's arachnophobia has led her to drowning her fear in alcohol. They can be your neighbors too. The late Marge Hauser's "Fairyland Mail" (No Net Press, 2014) are 19 classic fairy-tales, written as 21 emails, composed as sonnets. Humpty Dumpty. Georgie Porgie. Peter Peter Pumpkineater. Little Red Riding Hood. They're all here. You should read Marge's book. It will help when you miss her.
