Let me start by saying I loved this book. One of the reason is the female lead, she was a badass independent women.
If you love to read about kick ass female characters, you will love lily.
Loved the romance, and is rare that I cheer for the good clean cut guy and I did in this book. I love how different they seem but deep inside they had more in common that we thought. Is rare that I love the female character more than the guy, it happens to me once in a blue moon and it happen with Lily. Loved her.
Another thing I loved and appreciated was the tattoo shop scenes, I love reading about it in this and other books I read before. Is well written, good pace and good characters.
I would definitely recommend this book if you love good romance and if you don't like those weak female Leads you are going to appreciate this book because of the main female character.
Lily's Law is so different from most books I have read, but I am happy I did. I love the main character Lily Stargazer, with her "I don't give a crap" attitude. She had this attitude to cover up the hurt that happened in her past. She owns a tattoo shop called Stargazer Ink in Las Vegas. Lily liked to screw'em and leave'm, plus she never brings the men back to her home, that is a rule she never breaks. One night while working at the tattoo shop 4 men that are all "preppy" come in, this when she meets Lawson, he's hot and totally out of her league. When they first meet Lawson tells Lily to "watch her mouth", because she lets anything fly out. Lawson can't seem to get Lily out of his head and can't understand why, she is defiantly not the type of women he would go for.
Lawson is opening a wine business in Las Vegas, while trying to run his family's vineyard in California. He can't seem to get Lily out of his system, so of course he does everything to get her to notice him.
Lily tries everything to push him away even though she does start to have feelings for him. There is a reason that she doesn't want a relationship, but is that a logical, or should she throw caution to the wind? Also, a secret from her past may also throw a wrench into the what happens between these two. Will their friends try to keep them apart or will this couple have their happy ever after. I would highly recommend reading Lily's Law by Danielle Torella, to find out all the answers. This author is awesome by writing exactly what she thinks and doesn't sugar coat it. I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.
Lily is not your typical girl. Growing up in a trailer park raised by her grandparents she has made many mistakes. Now she owns a tattoo shop and has made a name for herself in Vegas. She has resolved herself to working, partying and having casual sex that is until she meets Lawson. Lawson is the complete opposite of Lily. He is uptight by the book kind of guy and when fate throws them together the seemed to turn each other upside down and inside out.
Just wow at first I didn't really want to like Lily because of her lifestyle and the nonchalant way she expressed it. Then you get to know her a little more and it seems more like she is crying for help and looking for redemption. Then their is Lawson who seemed to me a huge a-hole and snob, but then he turns out to be a great guy who is also trying to redeem himself from past problems. When the two of them are actually together they are truly amazing with each other. An amazing story with very intense yet thrilling characters. This is one story you don't want to miss out reading!
Lily owns her own hugely successful business. She parties hard and answers to no one. It’s her rules. One night is all they get, never more. Sure, she has a past with fears and a secret she doesn't want to share with anyone, but that only makes her more determined to live her live EXACTLY as she wants. Her only tie to her past is her grandfather, whom she’d do anything for, and a childhood friend that holds the key to her secret. When a bachelor party stumbles into Stargazer, Lily could never imagine that the GQ who boldly says to her, “watch your mouth”, would be the exception to her rule. She does everything to keep him at arms length, but she cant seem to push him away completely.
This is a feisty, opposites attract story. I was captivated by Lily’s fire! I was drawn to Lawson’s charm. Each character was well developed with a backstory that all tied in together. I would have liked a little bit more with Lily’s grandfather. He obviously meant a lot to her but I felt like his part of the story was kind of forgotten toward the end.
The editing does need to be fine tuned (it was a little distracting), but I think Danielle Torella is an outstanding story teller and has given us a unique spin on the Happy Ever After!

This story was strong beginning to end. This is my favorite to date from Danielle. The story was relatable and truly pulled you in. I can't wait to see what else Danielle has hidden in her writing cave.
I loved this book! It sucked me in and I couldn't put it down. I can't wait for Danielle to put out another book.
